Even when this year none of the Golden Globes nominees was Puerto Rican, the Boricua nation shined at the red carpet of the prestigious 2010 awards, thanks to one of the leading ladies of  prime time American TV. Discover all the details next.

Luis Antonio in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, California - Once again the Hilton Hotel of Los Angeles, California was the scenario of one of the most glamorous nights of the year. This January 17 Hollywood celebrated the traditional Golden Globes annually organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and, Puerto Rico had a very peculiar participation shining at the legendary red carpet.

The responsible of the Boricua cameo at the Globes was the beautiful and talented American actress Jennifer Morrison, former girlfriend of the also actor born in Puerto Rico, Amauri Nolasco.

Morrison arrives to the red carpet wearing a beautiful sand color piece with delicate chiffon layers, made by the Puerto Rican novel designer Luis Antonio.

The famous lead actress from the award winning TV series House, stared by the last year Golden Globe winner Huge Laurie, she complemented the dress with luxurious diamond earrings mounted on two exquisite pieces of romantic yellow gold.

"This dress is actually mine. It was a gift, my boyfriend gave me on December and I decided to wear it tonight. I think it's beautiful and I love it. It's from Luis Antonio, who is a designer from Puerto Rico", said Jennifer to E! Entertainment Television moments before the gala.

"I feel extremely honored that Jennifer has decided to use my drees. The Golden Globes are one of the most important awards in Hollywood and to hear my name at the red carpet feels amazing, makes me feel very proud", commented Luis Antonio.

This is the first time that a Puerto Rican dressed a big Hollywood star for an event like this. "To have the chance to hear my name pronounced next to huge names like Cavlli, Valentino, Dior or Armani among others, makes me feel like in a dream come true", added the 43-year-old designer.

On this days Luis Antonio, owner of a couture boutique located at San Patricio Town Center, is preparing his new collection autumn-winter to be launched in August 2010.
