"It's a big pleasure for me to be once again here in Puerto Rico. I love to sing Christmas songs, those themes raise my spirit and make me very happy", commented the diva.
Even before to recording Christmas songs, Gaynor enjoyed singing and included these kind of songs in her winter presentations, reason why she decided to create a special show dedicated completely to this music gender.
In addition the diva presented in the Island a new commemorative CD to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Grammy Award winning song "I Will Survive", recorded for first time in 1978 and remixed more than 200 times. The album also includes a Spanish version of the song and a new single "He Gave Me Life" a soft ballad written by George Gagliardi and produced by Bernie Herms, responsible for the production of "I Will Survive".
Taking advantage of her visit to the Island, Gaynor told us she will enjoy practicing one of her favorite pastimes: "shopping".
"I love shopping, and now that I know that in Barceloneta there is a big outlet I can't wait to go there. Shopping is one of my favorite activities when I'm traveling around the world", said Gloria. "The Boricua food in particular is one of my favorite, it is very colorful and delicious, it really makes me very happy", she added.
The diva also told us about her new album, which will include more gospel sound and cheerfull lyrics with her classic seal to seduce her habitual fans, but with fresh rhythms to also please her young followers. The album is already in pre production and will probably be released at the end of spring of 2010.
